UPDATE FOR ONCE IN MY MISERABLE LIFE!

Yeah I know I said that I was going to do a bunch of stuff that I never did and would be making lots of kooky cool new posts and junk...I didn't obviously.
Just FYI for anyone who was interested in knowing what the answer to the last obscure quote of the week, it was from the Commissioner of Ultimate Robot Fighting in the Futurama episode Raging Bender. So yeah...
What do you people want from me I got a DS for my birthday, I got bigger fish to fry. So we will just wait and see what the hell happens on this blog. I might just go back to what I was originally gonna do which was talk about whatever bullshit happened to be on my head at the time.
Like for instance...
Watched Poltergeist on TCM this evening. That still stands up as one of the scariest movies ever. This was from back in the day before ILM was a room full of computers, and there were things like rigs that could flip an entire set upside down. My favorite part of the whole more is actually one of the simplest little tricks. When the mother goes into the kitchen and sees all of the chairs are away from the table. She pushes them all back in then in one continuous shot walks with the camera following her to where the table and chairs are out of frame, but only for a moment, then when she goes back over to the table all of the chairs are stacked all crazy on top of the table. And you can even sort of see a reflection of the people running in to stack the chairs, but it all happens so fast that it is still really cool and unsettling.
But anyway.
So that's my little geek thought for the day.
